Santa Teresa Costa Rica

After a couple of days in Monteverde we spent some time in Santa Teresa on the Pacific coast. A pretty long car ride and a boat trip. It is a small rustic village. Surfing is the thing here. The girls had to try it! Lots of great restaurants. I still dream about the fresh tuna sallad at Burger Rancho… and the healthy food and smoothies at Olam. Sooo good! We rented an apartment with a pool close to the beach, Pacifica Surf Studios. The beach is wild and the water the same, strong waves and currants. They still have dirt roads in Santa Teresa. It is dusty and a bit difficult to walk around on the main road, but we loved every second of our stay!! We watched many sunsets at the beach. Magical.

A day trip to Montezuma. Cute town and a great waterfall.
